Analytics Data (with your consent): If you accept analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner, we use PostHog to collect information about how you use our App and page, including pages visited, time spent, clicks, and general interaction patterns. PostHog data is processed on servers in the European Union. No analytics data is collected unless you explicitly grant consent.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect for the following purposes:

For Analytics and Research: With your consent, we use PostHog analytics to understand how visitors interact with our App and page, identify areas for improvement, and enhance the user experience. The legal basis for this processing is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can grant or withdraw at any time via the cookie consent banner or the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

With Your Consent: We may share your information with third parties if you give us explicit consent to do so.
Analytics Provider: When you consent to analytics cookies, usage data is processed by PostHog (PostHog Inc.), which operates EU-based infrastructure. PostHog acts as a data processor on our behalf. For more information, see PostHog's privacy policy.
Push Notification Providers: To deliver push notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google Ireland Limited) for Android devices and the Apple Push Notification service (Apple Distribution International Ltd.) for iOS devices. These providers process your device token and the notification content solely for the purpose of delivering the message to your device. This may involve a transfer of data to servers outside the European Economic Area, safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or prevent fraud.

Your Rights and Choices

Data Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information by submitting a Data Deletion Request or by contacting us at info@bazarium.de.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the instructions in those communications.
Push Notification Opt-Out: Push notifications are optional and require your explicit permission. You can disable them at any time in your device's system settings or in the notification settings within the App. Withdrawing permission does not affect your ability to use the rest of the Service.
Analytics Opt-Out: You can withdraw your consent for analytics cookies at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. When you withdraw consent, PostHog tracking is immediately disabled and all PostHog cookies are cleared from your browser.

Push Notifications

Push notifications are an optional feature of the App. We only send them after you have granted permission through your device's operating system.

What we store: your push notification token, device type and operating system, and your notification preferences.
What we send: notifications about matches, messages, swap activity, and important service or security information. You can choose which categories you receive in the App's notification settings.
Content of notifications: notifications may display a preview of message or listing content on your lock screen. You can prevent this in your device's system settings.
Retention: we keep your push notification token only as long as notifications are enabled. If you revoke permission, uninstall the App, or delete your account, the token is deleted or invalidated. Tokens rejected as invalid by the notification providers are removed automatically.
No advertising use: we do not use push notification tokens for advertising, profiling, or tracking across other apps or websites.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no security system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App and page after such changes signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
